Speaking at a conference held in June 2008, Dr Chan, spoke at length about the challenges, which he believes to be: (a) That information resources are still under government control; (b) That the Chinese market is very complex; and (c) Piracy. The third point is one that many western marketers fear when looking at entering the Chinese arena in any way.
