After several months of macabre speculation in the tech industry and on Wall Street, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has set the record straight. Yes, the cancer survivor has been losing weight. The reason is a hormone imbalance for which he is now receiving treatment. Jobs made the announcement via a letter that was posted to the Apple Web site. As e-commerce is becoming a highly competitive market to do business, online vendors know all too well that their ability to do business using the Internet wisely and efficiently will lead to more sales and lager profit. For quite a long period of time, some e-commerce retailers could not afford to use point of sale software systems. This, in turn, would reduce the potential e-commerce profits these companies could have made had they been able to afford the software in the first place. Now, thanks to the electronic point of sale or EPOS software, companies of all sizes are now able to run this type of system which will make use of the Internet for e-commerce purposes in much more efficient and productive manner.
