Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Yes, I am an angry guy. I yell at other drivers. I roll my eyes when I have to stand in line for more than two minutes. I complain about Wall Street’s greedy executives, out-of-touch politicians, and our local newscast idiots, with their pancake makeup, chiseled cheekbones, and chirpy laughter. Saturday, October 4th, 2008

In the take-no-prisoners environment of the video game console industry, Nintendo was not so long ago considered an also-ran. The video game console pioneer and one-time market leader had been outmaneuvered and outsold by video game juggernaut Sony and even upstart entrant Microsoft, as their respective PlayStation and Xbox platforms made Nintendo’s offerings look like children’s toys in comparison. Jobs Rumor Monger May Have to Answer to SEC

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

A report posted on the citizen journalism section of CNN’s Web site Friday morning claimed that Apple CEO Steve Jobs had been rushed to the hospital with a heart attack. The reporter cited an anonymous but “quite reliable” source who supposedly said paramedics were summoned after Jobs complained of severe pain and shortness of breath. “I haven’t seen this anywhere else yet, and as of right now I have no further information, so I thought this would be a good place to start,” the citizen journalist wrote.
